Mr. Slamkowski practices in the areas of commercial/business
litigation, dispute resolution, real estate and business
law. He has significant experience representing plaintiffs
and defendants in federal courts, state courts and in
administrative venues throughout the country. He has
represented and advised Fortune 100 companies, private
companies, limited liability companies and individuals
in large and small matters relating to contracts, real
estate, intellectual property, lending and insurance
matters. He has been involved in numerous real estate
transactions including sales, financings and commercial
leasing. During the course of his career Mr. Slamkowski
has:
- Represented a technology company in a patent infringement,
trademark infringement, trade secret and breach of
contract lawsuit;
- Brought a derivative lawsuit on behalf of members
of a real estate limited liability company against
its manager for breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation
and breach of contract;
- Defended an investment bank against claims of securities
fraud, conspiracy and RICO violations;
- Pursued the rights of secured lenders in real and
personal property in state court and Bankruptcy Court;
- Represented numerous real property owners and property
managers relevant to leasing, lending, conveyances
and other contract matters; and
- Assisted a team of trial lawyers who obtained the
largest jury verdict in the history of Wyoming in
a personal injury/wrongful death action.
Mr. Slamkowski worked with Chase Manhattan Bank in
New York City before attending Fordham University Law
School. He practiced with the international law firm
of Rogers & Wells (now Clifford Chance) in New York
City before relocating to Denver in 1995. In Colorado
he practiced with Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll
and Hatch & Moschetti before joining HKH. He is admitted
to practice in New York and Colorado.
